BasTV keeps as little about you as it can. Nothing is sold, shared or
passed to a third party, and there is no advertising or analytics.
What is stored
- Your name - shown on your account page.
- Your email address - used to sign in and to
send a password reset link if you ask for one.
- Your password - stored only as a hash, never as
readable text. Nobody, including the owner, can read it back.
- Your watch progress - which title or episode you
watched and how far you got, so playback can resume.
- A session cookie - keeps you signed in. It holds
no personal data and is cleared when you log out.
The web server also writes standard access logs, which include the IP
address a request came from. These are kept only for troubleshooting.
Your choices
Ask the owner to correct or delete your account at any time. Deleting
an account removes your details and your watch history with it.
